"Beautiful Life" pocket mini album

Hello!  As promised, today I am going to show you the mini album I made using The Paper Bakery Kit Club's August add-on kit called "County Fair".  I truly had so much fun working with this add-on kit!  Check out the mini album I created~ I used the Simple Stories pocket that was included as the cover for the album.  And I think the mini album is the perfect size!

Thanks for checking in again today!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Good day everyone!  Thanks for stopping in today!  Today I wanted to share a project I created using The Paper Bakery's August add-on kit.  It was filled with all kinds of goodness and I really enjoyed working with it.  Here is one of my lay-outs ~ And if you look closely you can see I used part of the brown paper bag that the embellishments come in!  Even the bag is adorable and can be included in a layout!

Come back tomorrow and I will show you a mini album I created!
Have a great day!

The sign said "No Topless"!!!

Good morning everyone!  It's Tegan again and I want to share a very summery layout with you.  My sister and I visited Mexico last year and the resort had a sign at the pool that said "No Topless"!!!   If you think I am joking take a look at my layout~  I had taken a pic of the sign, so I used it as the title.  I was just in awe I guess, because the thought of going topless in public would NEVER cross my mind.  Oh well, at least the sign was cute!

On this layout, I also wanted to add numbers to my journaling for an interesting look!  I love it!!!

And a close up of the journaling

I also want to show you how I made my own embellies using the Flower Child papers....

This flower is made using Flower Child and the uber adorable cloud is part of the Oh Happy Day collection!  Using embroidery floss is my new favorite technique right now! It is super fun~ you should give it a try!

I hope I have inspired you. Have a great day!

Let's make a pocket

Hi everyone!  It's Tegan here today and I am going to show you how to make a paper pocket!  These pockets are oh so cute and can be used on your layouts to hold any trip souvenirs such as sand or brochures, coasters, tickets~ the possibilities are endless.  I found some money from Mexico in my purse AFTER I returned from vacation, so in the paper pocket it went.  The pockets can also be used alone and given as giftcard holders, cards, etc!  Let me show you!   Notice too I fussy-cut out a leaf and used it for the bird's wing...

                                                                And the pocket up close~

Let me show you how to make these super cute pockets- they are easy!

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you enjoyed my pocket tutorial.
Until next time....

Have a great day!

Our Fairly Good Day!

My hubby and I love going to the fair each year!!  I really enjoy the banner look and was trying to give it a new spin! I added tags, paperclips, and twine to the banner portion.  And I cam to love that Studio Calico paper I used as the background even more~ So many cool things can be done with it!
And some close-ups
