Making Tickets from Patterned Paper!

Hello everyone!  Today I am sharing my first layout I made with the fabulous May Paper Bakery SCRAPBOOK kit called Debate Team!  It is full of fun product and I had a blast working with it!  I was inspired by the colors and the ice cream cone rub-on from the kit to create a layout about our visit to our county fair last year.  Take a look!

I made the tickets at the bottom of the page by using a circle punch and ticket patterned paper.  Take a look!  I first cut the tickets out.

Then I used a small circle punch (about 1/2 inch) to punch out a crescent shape from the edge of the ticket.
I then punched out the other side and that is it!
I then repeated this technique on a handful of tickets and made a cluster of tickets.  I really like the way it turned out!  I encourage you to check out the May Paper Bakery SCRAPBOOK kit if you haven't done so already!  It also includes so much more than I could fit on to this one layout!

As always, thanks so much for stopping in!  I appreciate it!

You Make Me Happy Layout!

Good day everyone!  Today I am sharing my latest layout using Pink Paislee's fabulously cheerful Hello Sunshine collection!  This collection seriously makes me happy every time I craft with it! It is sure to brighten your day as well!   I used Pink Paislee's Fab Fab challenge. The Fab Five is where I only used five different categories of product to make one fab layout!  I used patterned paper, chipboard shapes, and stamps from the Hello Sunshine collection.  I also used ink (Avery Elle white) and DMC embroidery floss.

I used the rain drops stamps from the Hello Sunshine collection with white ink for a chalk look!

I hand cut some patterned papers into banners to call attention to my photos!  My favorite technique these days is embroidering, so I just HAD to include some embroidery floss!

I used the sentiment that was on the patterned paper as my title since I could only use five types of products.

I really enjoyed the Fab Five challenge!  It was fun to be able to get creative with the products that I had chosen.  And since I only worked with five products, my craft table wasn't a huge disaster afterwards!  Bonus!  Thanks so much for stopping in today!  I appreciate it!
Hugs!

Fun with a circle punch!

Good day all!  Today I am sharing my latest card I made using the super fab Paper Bakery April SCRAPBOOK kit and my trusty old circle punch!   I just love the wood veneer chevron arrows included in the kit!  You can see below I painted one teal blue!

All I had to do was punch out some circles and turn the four sides up to make a square right?  I will admit I had a little bit of trouble making squares that weren't lopsided, so I decided to show you my little trick that worked wonders for me!  First I punched out the circles.

Then I folded up the bottom just slightly.  You may have to play a little to see what works for you.
I then turned my circle so that the first flat side was on my left hand side.  I made sure to line it up with the perfect squares on my craft mat while I folded the bottom portion up again. This helps me get almost perfect squares every time!
And the finished product!
And the close up!

I really enjoyed working with this kit!  Be sure to check it out!  I was the April SCRAPBOOK kit by Paper Bakery!  As always, thanks to stopping by!  Have a great day!!

I love how it all came together!  And I know you will love this kit too!
Also, check out the super cool and EXCLUSIVE Pink Fresh Studio navy and gold alphas that come in the kit as well!  Fabulous I tell you, fabulous! And check out some of the great arrow wood veneer that is included too!
And more elements from the kit! Swirly wood veneer, Maya Road acrylic flower embellishments, and star stickers to name a few!

Paper Bakery's March Scrapbook kit

Hello all!   Today I am sharing my latest layout and a quick card I made using Paper Bakery's March Scrapbook kit!  The kit includes some cool unique wood veneer and some patterned papers that are just plain pretty!  The whole kit just makes me happy!
I added my own black cardstock for the background so that my hand cut triangles would pop against the black.  I really like how it turned out.  It kind of reminds me of a stained glass window!

Notice the so cool clock wood veneer?
I love how the floral chipboard alphas pop against the black background too!  And don't you love the little epoxy hearts?  Both of these and the super cute clock flair button are included in the kit as well!

Here is the super quick card I made using Paper Bakery's March Scrapbook kit and the printables that subscribers receive. After I printed the printables and trimmed out the yellow sentiment tab, I adhered it onto a piece of the gingham paper.  I then added a few of the adorable Simple Stories chipboard pieces and voila!
Thanks for stopping in everyone! I truly appreciate it!
And don't forget to check out Paper Bakery's March Scrapbook Kit!
Have a fabulous day!
