Christmas Gift Tags!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I would like to share some fun gift tags I made using the super fun Bella Blvd Santa Stops Here collection! I started by die cutting some tags from the solid papers in the Santa Stops Here 6x8 mini paper pad. I then had tons of fun using a couple tubes of the Illustrated Faith Acrylic paints. I seriously almost bought this paint set months ago when it was first released. I hesitated only because I don't really use a lot of paints in my papercrafting and wasn't sure if I would be able to use them. Boy, was I wrong! These paints are super easy to work with and the colors are gorgeous too!

I started the tags by using the enclosed paint spreading tool (like a credit card) to push the teal and pink paints around the backgrounds of my tags. When the paint was dry, I simply embellished the tags with my favorite pieces from the Bella Blvd Santa Stops Here collection. I used the Ephemera Pieces as my main focus. I then used the Bella Blvd Puffy Heart Stickers and the Bella Blvd Puffy Star Stickers to finish off my tags. So easy!
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to create your own crafty Christmas tags! And be sure to check out the Bella Blvd Santa Stops Here collection for all of your Christmas crafting!

Gift Boxes for St. Nick Day!

Good morning everyone! Today I am sharing my first creation as a member of the 2018 Bella Blvd Creative Team. I am so excited! I love working with Bella Blvd products and the Santa Stops Here collection is no exception! I created these little gift boxes in no time using the Holly Pillow Box cut file I found in the Silhouette online store.

I used the adorable blue snowflake patterned paper for the base of my first pillow box. I then added a strip of fun candy cane striped paper around the box. I easily finished the box using a pink Bella Blvd Cute Clip bow, an adorable elf ephemera piece, and a cute Santa Epoxy Sticker.
I die cut the second box out of the coordinating candy cane patterned paper. I used another strip from the Santa Stops Here Borders paper to wrap around the middle of the box. Again, I easily finished the box off with another Bella Blvd Cute Clip bow, ephemera piece, and cute matching epoxy sticker. Who wouldn't love to receive these little boxes?!?!

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to craft a goody box or two for a loved one!
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Pink Paislee Sweet Freedom!

Good day everyone! I am so excited to be Pink Paislee's guest designer for July. And I am super happy that I got to work with the Sweet Freedom collection. I think it just might be my favorite patriotic line of all time! It was perfect for documenting pics of some past 4th of July activities.
For my first layout, I used my Cameo to cut out some fun star shapes and backed them with different patterned papers to create a fun visual on my page.

It was so hard to choose my favorite papers to back the stars with... I love them all!

For my second layout, I used some older pics that I hadn't documented yet. And aren't the coordinating red, white, and blue alpha stickers so much fun?!?
I like how the cursive word adds some pizazz to my title.

My little niece had so much fun waving her little flag at the parade! I again used my Cameo to cut out the background stars here.

The die cut sentiments from the ephemera pack make super cool and quick titles!

And no 4th of July gathering is complete without goody bags. I can see these filled with sunscreen, sidewalk chalk, or snacks!

And every holiday needs fun cards to give away. I am in love with the 3D paper stars from the Sweet Freedom collection!

Thanks so much for joining me! I hope all of you have a safe and fun holiday!

Live Laugh Love with Elle's Studio

I had a blast being the Elle's Studio guest designer for May. I couldn't put the brand new Live Laugh Love collection down! It is perfect for documenting my family's latest trip to Disneyland!

I started out by using some of the amazing May 2017 Elle's Studio cut files as well! How fun are those hexagon page accents?!? I completed the title using the Letter & Number Stickers and coordinating puffy stickers.

The small blank labels that match this collection make perfect little journaling tags!

I added the yellow star acrylic from the Stars and Hearts Mixed Acrylics that were just released in May. A fun puffy word sticker and die cut sentiment add details. And of course every layout needs some wood veneer pieces!

I love all of the colors in the Live Laugh Love collection! All of the colors makes it easy for me to match my photos. This collection is great for not only vacation adventures, but everyday adventures as well!

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to document your latest adventure with lots of color!

More Elle's Studio Goodness!

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be back today sharing another layout with you using the gorgeous Elle's Studio Live Laugh Love collection! I am in love with this new line and I just can't put it down!

I love that Elle's Studio also offers cut files I can use on my layouts each month! First I used the April 2017 cut file set to cut out a few circular designs from my white background paper. I then backed these cut outs with the white grid paper from the Live Laugh Love collection. I like that this paper adds a little interest to the background, but isn't overwhelming.

I then used the May 2017 cut file set to cut out the "Go", "See", and "Do" arrows from three different colors of my favorite patterned papers. And of course I had to choose my photos to coordinate with each word! The coordinating puffy stickers make perfect little accents for my title arrows too, don't they?

I have to admit that I am not much of a stamper. I was afraid to stamp "Notes From Our" and "Adventure" from the Bike Ride stamp set on the background of my almost finished layout. But I quickly learned that Elle's Studio stamps are so easy to use! This beginner was able to get perfectly stamped images on the very first try. I can't wait to use more of Elle's Studio stamps on my layouts!

The green "Priorities" Word Label sticker was a perfect little accent to my photo here. Riding the bumper cars at California Adventure was definitely my niece's top priority that day. Ha! I then embellished my layout with some fun wood veneer pieces and enamel dots. I added a small black enamel dot after each word on my title arrows to emphasize the title.

Thanks for joining me today everyone! I hope I have inspired you to document your latest family trip or mini adventure using the fun new Live Laugh Love collection!

Flower Power Title Challenge!

Good day everyone! I played along with the new Flower Power Title Challenge over at Paper Issues and had a blast! The challenge was to somehow incorporate flowers in your title. Be sure to head over to the Paper Issues blog for all the details on how you too can play along and tons of inspiration! I started with a picture of my niece with a little flower in her hair and grabbed the Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection. And I believe Paper Issues still has some of the adorable Joy Parade in stock!

I love all of the fun colors in the Joy Parade collection! And I just can not get enough of the multi striped patterned paper. It reminds me so much of candy!

For the flower portion of my title, I used the FREE Daisy Crown cut file. I simply enlarged it a bit before cutting it out with my Cameo machine. I then hand cut a chain of them from the crown and added my letters to the insides.  I even used one of the flower cut outs on top of my page as well.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to give the Flower Power challenge a try! And! You can save 20% off your entire purchase at the Paper Issues online store when you use the code Tegan! Happy shopping everybody and have a great day!

New Challenge over at Paper Issues!

Good day everyone! Paper Issues has a new fun challenge on their blog and I had so much fun playing along! It's called Put the Petal/Pedal to the Metal/Medal Challenge! And just how the name sounds, you can focus on flowers or metal project embellishments. Be sure to head over to the Paper Issues blog to get all the details on how you too can play along!
I focused on flowers for my layout.

I mostly used the super fun Fancy Pants Designs Joy Parade collection! I also used the fantastic and FREE Daisy Crown cut file from the Paper Issues store! I die cut out the crown and then hand snipped the florals apart to make embellishments. I then adhered them to the layout using foam adhesive to dimension.

The Daisy Crown cut file was just perfect for this layout out my little niece picking flowers at grandma's house! And some of the Joy Parade collection is still available in the Paper Issues online store so be sure to check it out!

Thanks for joining me today! And remember, you can save 20% off your entire order from the Paper Issues online store when you use the code Tegan. Awesome, right?!?

Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues!

I played along with the Scraplift Sunday challenge over on the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page! Simply join the group for all the fun and to play along with the challenges!
Here is the original from Christina Howard that I scraplifted-

And my take on it... I used the super fun Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection and the FREE Messy Circles cut file - both from the Paper Issues store!

I am in love with this FREE Messy Circles cut file! The cut file comes with 16 circles, but I just erased all but nine and then resized it to the size I wanted. I made two die cuts... Notice I layered the yellow patterned paper cut over a solid blue cardstock cut for added dimension.

I made a box of circles and layered it over a banner of patterned paper. I seriously can not get enough of this Joy Parade collection!

And the bottom embellishments...I cut out a single messy circle to use as an embellishment. And I used the We R Memory Keepers typecast typewriter to easily type up my journaling!

Thanks for joining me today! And remember, head over to the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook group to play along with all the fun challenges!

AND! Take 20% off your entire Paper Issues online store order when you use the code Tegan! How cool is that!

Swag Bag Sunday at Paper Issues!

I am so excited that it is Swag Bag Sunday over at Paper Issues! What is a Swag Bag you might ask? It is a fun mini kit that includes themed papers and embellishments! Each month, the fun varies! With a Swag Bag, you might also get a cool little pouch, a fun shaped eraser, or a rub-on pen! I love that the Swag Bag contains all kinds of different things to try, without the commitment of having to buy an entire collection or pack of embellishments!

I used the February 2017 Swag Bag. I adore all of the sweet elements... the colors, the donuts, and the cookies! All of these elements were perfect for a layout about my super sweet niece! On this layout I only used the February Swag Bag, pink and white cardstock, alpha stickers, and stitching!

I used the FREE Butterfly Heart Love cut file from Paper Issues to make my hearts. I simply erased the inside butterfly element before cutting out my hearts. I then backed the hearts with foam adhesive and added the patterned papers. And how cool is that small paper straw that came in the kit?!? I love that it included one and I didn't have to buy an entire package of them!

Seriously loving all of these yummy bits from the February Swag Bag! I believe February is all sold out, but be sure to check the Paper Issues store for upcoming Swag Bags!

Thanks for stopping in today!
And remember, you get 20% off your entire Paper Issues online store order when you use the code Tegan! Happy shopping friends!

I love free cut files and Bella Blvd!

Good day everyone! I am sharing a layout I recently made for Paper Issues using their free Love Script Heart cut file. If you haven't checked out all of their free cut files, be sure to head over to take a look. They have lots of cool cut files and they are all free!

I started by using the cut file to cut the design out of white cardstock. I then backed the design with various colors of Bella Blvd Addison and Oh My Stars patterned papers. Some of these papers are still available in the Paper Issues online store, so be sure to check them out!

I love that the fun colors were a great match for my photos of my little Cairn Terrier, Pixie!

I then added various colors of mist splashes around the page. I finished it off with these cool Bella Blvd alpha stickers. I just absolutely love all the colors in this page!
Thanks for joining me today! And remember! You save 20% off your entire purchase at Paper Issues online store when you use the code Tegan! Have fun shopping!

Pawsitively Pets over at Paper Issues!

I had so much fun playing along with the latest Pawsitively Pets challenge over on the Paper Issues blog! They even have a set of adorable paw themed cut files to coordinate with the challenge and they are free. Yes, you read that correctly, FREE! I used the super fun Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection on this layout. And some parts of it are still available in the Paper Issues online store!

I used the 'LOVE YOU' cut outs for my title. I cut these two words out twice...once using black cardstock and once using the teal patterned paper. I then adhered the teal cut outs slightly off-center on top of the black cut outs. And of course, I used foam adhesive to pop the entire title!

The little paw cut outs are just beyond adorable! I cut the paws from pink cardstock and then backed them with different patterned papers for a fun look. I love the way it turned out!
I just can not get over how fun and colorful the Fancy Pants Joy Parade collection is! I love the mix of green, teal, and pink with a splash of black. And  I was happy that this collection matched the green background in my photo perfectly!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Don't forget to play along with the Pawsitively Pets challenge at Paper Issues. You will have a blast!
