Paper Issues Spring Online Crop!

Hi everyone! I am having a blast participating in the Paper Issues Online Spring Crop! Join the Paper Issues {Friends & Fans} Facebook page to get all the details on this super fun crop! They are offering tons of challenges and each challenge is full of great inspiration! I used the Mood Board to inspire my latest layout. I was intrigued by the beautiful pastel colors and the hearts in the lower left corner.

And my take! I used the gorgeous Elle's Studio Little Moments collection, which is also available in the Paper Issues online store! I love teal, yellow, and gray that is featured in this sweet collection...it definitely reminds me of the desserts on the mood board too! The large heart was cut using my Silhouette Cameo and one of the hearts from the February Free Cut Files Set at Paper Issues.

I used the coordinating stamp set to stamp on this die cut tag. I love the whimsical feel the white and yellow striped paper adds to the layout!

I am absolutely in love with the coordinating Jonah stamps and the labels that are a perfect fit for them! Here I used the Jonah stamp set to repeat 'YOU' on the label as my main embellishment. Love the rainbow effect too!

I finished my layout off with some coordinating die cuts and I was done!

I hope you hop over to the Paper Issues Online Crop because it is loads of fun! Challenge entries are due on Tuesday, March 22nd to be eligible for a prize. And remember, you can use the code PISPRINGCROP for 31.4% off your entire purchase through tonight (Sunday, March 20 2016)!! If you miss the sale, you can use the code Tegan to get 20% off you entire purchase at the Paper Issues store! Happy Shopping!

Easter Wall Hanging

Good day! I couldn't resist making this little bunny frame from the new Echo Park Paper Easter collection! I love bunnies, so I just had to create my project around the sweet Peter Cottontail die!

I had purchased a 9” x 11” craft frame from Michaels awhile back and just knew it would be perfect painted in an aqua to match the Easter collection. I then backed the middle opening with the plaid patterned paper. It is gorgeous! I finished off the top with thin yellow ribbon from May Arts and an ephemera piece titled ‘Easter’.

I added strips of aqua polka dot patterned paper and white Carta Bella cardstock to my background so Mr. Cottontail would stand out.

I then placed the egg border sticker onto the front of my frame using foam adhesive. I added one large egg sticker to each bottom side of the frame. I embellished the large eggs with buttons threaded with embroidery floss.

I added a cloud sticker from the Spring collection Element Stickers sheet. Did you know the Spring collection coordinates perfectly with the Easter collection? It does! I then die cut Peter Cottontail from 2 shades of lavender cardstock I had on hand to make him stand out. I tucked him behind the row of eggs and adhered him with foam adhesive for dimension. He is just adorable! And I am in love with this Easter collection! It is perfect for all of your Easter and spring projects!

Sketchy Saturday at Paper Issues!

Good morning everyone! There is a new fun and fabulous sketch up on the Paper Issues blog today! You will definitely want to head over and check it out! I am loving the addition of splatters on this latest sketch- take a look!

And here is my take on the sketch! I used the fresh and colorful Amy Tan Better Together collection, which can be found in the Paper Issues store. (And remember, you get 20% off of your entire purchase if you use the code Tegan!!!) This collection is perfect for documenting all kinds of subjects- even the little ones.

I love the bold graphic patterned papers, the "LOVE" washi tape, and the puffy stickers that are included in this collection! Sigh!

All of the patterned papers are oh-so-fun! And I can not get enough of the rubber charms- like this flower here!

This layout came together so easily! Here I used the acetate die cut as my title to save time. And I made the larger mist splatters by dunking the end of a Starbucks straw into my mist and transferring the mist to the page.

Thanks for joining me today! And remember to head over to the Paper Issues March Sketchy Saturday blog  post to check out their latest and greatest sketch challenge!

Who loves FREE cut files? If you raised your hand, you will definitely want to head over to the Paper Issues blog today! It's their Cut It Up Saturday feature and it includes lot of free Easter and geek inspired cut files. I enlarged the "Geek is the New Sexy" phrase and embellished my page with the amazing Amy Tan Better Together collection! And it is available in the Paper Issues store now (and should be restocked soon)! Use code Tegan to save 20% off your entire Paper Issues purchase!

I have almost used up my pack of Better Together charms. I love them and I can not wait to get another pack. Please don't judge me! They are THAT CUTE!

The thin gold washi from the Better Collection adds the perfect amount of pizzazz to the cut file! I used the Bazzill Classic Smooth white cardstock as my background. It can be found in the store here and cut wonderfully in my Silhouette Cameo machine!

The free "Geek" cut file was perfect for documenting this picture of my sister looking sexy in her glasses! I accented the pic with a pink puffy arrow and chipboard exclamation point from the alpha sticker set.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope I have inspired you to get creative using cut files. And don't forget to head over to the Paper Issues blog to snag some cool free cut files!
