Can you guess what's inside?

It's Tegan here and I am so excited Christmas is just around the corner!  I love the holidays and getting together with family.   Today I want to share with you a little handmade gift (and box!)  I made to give to my mom who loves to drink sparkling grape juice out of those little fancy glasses!   Hmmmmmmmm~  Can you guess what is inside??

I made little drink charms!  These would also look super cute on a bottled water or cola!

I think I might make an extra set just to have on hand incase I get invited to any last minute Christmas parties~ they would make a great hostess gift!

To make the charms, I used the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge and floral wire, which was pretty easy to shape into a nice circle.  I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge to cut out the little box.  Have a great holiday everyone!

Celebrate!

Good Tuesday morning everyone!  I am excited to share today's card with you all!  I made it using mostly The Paper Bakery's December Kit called Pay Day.  Be sure to check it out!  It is full of versatile papers and embellishments!

I trimmed the chevron ribbon as thin as I could to make tassels!

And I made this little banner tag from the strip of bar code paper that we usually trim off our papers and throw away.  The collection is called "The Good Life" so I had to use that piece SOMEWHERE on one of my projects!

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Hope you have a great Tuesday!
And hope you are ready for Christmas~ ( I certainly am WAY behind!  LOL)

The papers I used are from the GCD Studios Splendor Collection~ I absolutely love the vintage feel of this line.  Thanks for stopping by today everyone~ have a great day!

I love these little alpha stickers!

Oh and look at that cute little tree!

All of this goodness comes from The Paper Bakery's November Kit called Street Lamp! You will want to snatch one up before it is too late!  It is fabulous!

Oh and one more thing- I have a teaser of what's in store for The Paper Bakery's December kit!

Washi tape flowers

Hope everyone is in the holiday spirit! Today I am sharing a super fun gift card holder.  I am also going to show you how to make the washi tape flower I put on it.  Washi tape is so versatile!

And how do you make the washi tape flower you ask?
1) Start by cutting a circle about 3 1/2" wide.

2)  Cut the entire circle into a spiral.

3)  Cover the entire spiral with short pieces of washi tape.  Pieces do not have to be perfect.

4) Once the spiral is covered with washi tape, curl it into a flower shape.  Put liquid adhesive on the underside of the spiral and reshape back into a flower.  You may have to hold it a few minutes while the adhesive dries.

5)  And the completed flower!  I stuck a brad in the center of mine.

All of these items came from The Paper Bakery's November scrapbook kit.  It is great and you can grab yours HERE!!    Until next time....

A Simple Thanks

Good Tuesday morning!  Today I want to show you the card I made with the beautiful American Crafts 5th and Frolic paper.... I just love this patterned paper.  I usually don't make cards this simple, but I think this card is simply perfect.  I used the paper and stickers from The Paper Bakery's October kit called Welcome Home. It is a great kit and you can buy one HERE.

And here is a look into how I created the card~
Step #1-  Poke a hole in the middle of the "V".

Step #2~ Start from the back so the ends can't be seen.

Step #3~  Pull the floss over the paper and adhere using a very thin line of liquid adhesive.

Step #4~ Adhere the ends to the back of the card.

Thanks for stopping by everyone!
If you are loving American Crafts new 5th and Frolic line,
you will also love The Paper Bakery Kit Club's main kit~

Because there is no place like home

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday! Today I want to share with you a super cute tag I made using The Paper Bakery Kit Club's October Kit called Welcome Home.  You can sign up now to make sure you receive this kit.  Full release is coming soon!  It is filled with the brand new and fabulous American Crafts 5th and Frolic and Ready Set Go.  You will not want to miss this one!  The color palette is so yummy and the sticker book that is included is jam-packed with cute stickers!

Check out this adorable house paper! I just HAD to cut out the windows with my exacto knife and add curtains!  And see the cool lightbulb washi tape at the bottom of the tag?  I folded a long strip  in half (sticky sides together) and ruffled it before adhering it to give it dimension.

I also fussy cut out one of the lightbulbs from the washi tape and flipped it upside down for the body on the butterfly.

Thanks again for joining me today everyone!  I hope you have enjoyed my little "homestyle" tag.

Halloween is just around the corner!

Hello everyone!   Today I am super excited because I get to share some Halloween goodness with you~ I absolutely LOVE Halloween!  And since I love handing out Halloween treats to my friends and family, these little potion bottle treasures are perfect!   You could also just use them as decorations.  But just a warning- your family will want to eat all of the candy out of the bottles because they are so cute!

Which one is your favorite?  I can't decide!

The Labels & Tags paper from the GCD Studios Splendor collection has some great labels and such for making these potion bottles.  And Halloween is still a few weeks away~ you have plenty of time to make some for yourself!  I recently found the bottles in the glass section of my local craft store.  Have a great day!
