Fun with a circle punch!

Good day all!  Today I am sharing my latest card I made using the super fab Paper Bakery April SCRAPBOOK kit and my trusty old circle punch!   I just love the wood veneer chevron arrows included in the kit!  You can see below I painted one teal blue!

All I had to do was punch out some circles and turn the four sides up to make a square right?  I will admit I had a little bit of trouble making squares that weren't lopsided, so I decided to show you my little trick that worked wonders for me!  First I punched out the circles.

Then I folded up the bottom just slightly.  You may have to play a little to see what works for you.
I then turned my circle so that the first flat side was on my left hand side.  I made sure to line it up with the perfect squares on my craft mat while I folded the bottom portion up again. This helps me get almost perfect squares every time!
And the finished product!
And the close up!

I really enjoyed working with this kit!  Be sure to check it out!  I was the April SCRAPBOOK kit by Paper Bakery!  As always, thanks to stopping by!  Have a great day!!

  2. Wow, very nice, I like the teal chevrons! Sadly my circle punch broke, but I can cut some on my Explore so I might give this a whirl! x
