A layout to cherish

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today I want to share with you a sweet layout using a picture of my little Yorkie and I.   I used the fabulous January Dreamscape kit from The Paper Bakery!

And some great chevron vellum is included in the kit... Here I layered it over patterned paper for a unique look.

And look at this great tag that is included in the kit-  it enabled me to create this great layout
pretty quickly!  Remember, you can scoop up your kit RIGHT HERE!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope I have inspired you today!

Showing my artsy side

Good morning!   I am excited to share my project that I made using the Paper Bakery's January Mixed Media kit "Love You Deer". I was kind of nervous before I got started, but quickly learned that with mixed media you really can't mess up! If I can do it, you surely can too! And guess what? I LOVE the way it turned out! What do you think? I like how it's kind of "artsy". And I love love love the Heidi Swapp Gold Lame spray that comes in the kit~ it is FABULOUS! And I want to spray it on everything- and I mean everything!!!

First I grabbed a handful of acrylic paints that I had that matched the Studio Calico Darling Dear papers that come in the kit.
If you don't have paints, you could surely skip this part and just cover the entire canvas with the papers...

Paint the entire canvas- make sure to blend the colors into each other somewhat. Let dry.

Cut about 40 papers into 1.5" x 1.5" squares and arrange them how you would like.
I used some Mod Podge that I had to adhere the squares down.

While the canvas dries, take the circle stencil that is included and use paint to stencil on circles. You can also use the Gold Lame spray mist as well.

Spray the entire canvas with the Gold Lame spray mist. I also uncapped the mist and used the inside straw from the sprayer to drop a number of large droplets all over the canvas.

Add the heart and "&" stickers to the canvas. I love the detail that these add to the canvas!

And then add the canvas heart, the Pink Paislee Artisan Elements, and a few extra embellishments and you are all set!

You can make it as Valentine's- oriented as you would like. I like how it's still love-inspired but not all pink and girly like the usual Valentine's things are. But don't get me wrong- I still like pink and girly from time to time! ;)
Thanks for stopping by! Remember you can get your kit here!
And feel free to post any questions you may have.

Today is all about the chevron!

Good day all!  Just want to share with you a card I made using The Paper Bakery's awesome December Scrapbook Kit!  Check it out HERE!  Actually I made 3 layouts, 2 cards, a mini album, AND I still had supplies left over!

I fussy cut the mini chevrons out of the patterned paper that came in the kit!

For this part, I used the Fancy Pants banner die cuts and trimmed them into chevron shapes! Easy-Peasy!

And I am super excited about the upcoming January kits!  I can't wait to reveal my full projects to you all!
But in the mean time, here is what I can offer~ a cute little
sneak!  :)

Thanks to all who stop by, it really does make me happy to share my creations.

Can you guess what's inside?

It's Tegan here and I am so excited Christmas is just around the corner!  I love the holidays and getting together with family.   Today I want to share with you a little handmade gift (and box!)  I made to give to my mom who loves to drink sparkling grape juice out of those little fancy glasses!   Hmmmmmmmm~  Can you guess what is inside??

I made little drink charms!  These would also look super cute on a bottled water or cola!

I think I might make an extra set just to have on hand incase I get invited to any last minute Christmas parties~ they would make a great hostess gift!

To make the charms, I used the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge and floral wire, which was pretty easy to shape into a nice circle.  I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge to cut out the little box.  Have a great holiday everyone!
