Hello everyone! My latest project was inspired by yesterday's National Creamsicle Day! I knew right away I wanted to make some little 3D creamsicles and they ended up being the perfect size for some summertime cards! And of course I had to use my favorite summer papercrafting collection - Island Escape from Bella Blvd!
I used the popsicle from the FREE Sun and Fun cut file from the Paper Issues online store to make my little warm weather treats. I first erased the popsicle stick portion of the cut file in my Silhouette software. After the popsicle tops were cut out, I used foam adhesive to adhere them to white cardstock so they would be 3D. I then trimmed little ends off of real popsicle sticks and adhered them to the bottoms.
I love the way the pink mini polka dot patterned paper looks in popsicle form. It reminds me of a strawberry frozen treat! And these little treasures were SO much fun to make!
I even made a few extra creamsicles to use as table scatter. I must say, these little embellishments are even cuter in person!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to create little 3D popsicles for your next project!
