Big Egg Hunt

I had so much fun creating this Spring themed layout using the new Bella Blvd cut files and the Plaids & Dotty and Wish Big Girl collections! All of the bright colors and flowers definitely make me happy and so ready for Spring!

I used the Bella Blvd Wish Big cut file for my title. I erased the 'wish' part in my cut file software and then enlarged the 'big'. I cut out 'big' from two different patterned papers and layered one on top of the other with foam adhesive to really make it pop. I wanted to really express that it was a big egg hunt because there were 50,000 plastic eggs to be hunted! I finished the title with the Bella Blvd Wonky Puffy Alphabet Stickers. I also used the Bella Blvd Frog cut file to cut out this cute little frog guy. Isn't he adorable?

The die cut bird and flower pieces from the Wish Big Girl collection make perfect springtime embellishments! And I love the color and detail that the Word Salad quote stickers add!

I pulled this sweet little chipboard butterfly from the Bug Explorer collection. All of the enamel dots are from the Heart Hugs packs. I love the detail they add!
Thank you for joining me today. I hope I have inspired you to create a BIG (pun intended) title on your next layout!

Fun Stamping with Doodlebug Design

Since Doodlebug Design released their adorable stamp sets, stamping on my layouts has been my new favorite technique. I had so much fun creating this colorful stamped rainbow to coordinate with the Simply Spring collection! The mix of flowers, cute insects, and spring colors in this collection make me so happy! Bring on spring!

Creating the rainbow was not only fun, but super easy! I used the Doodlebug Design Rainbow with Clouds cut file to first cut out all the arches of the rainbow from scrap paper. I then lined them up on my layout and traced each arch with a pencil. I then used the small flower from the Simply Spring Flower Girl Stamp set to stamp inside the arches. I gently erased the pencil lines when I was done.

All of the stamps in this stamp set are so very cute! I can't wait to use more of the images from this set. Once my rainbow was colored in, I embellished the page with an Odds & Ends cloud shape and sun shaped Doodle Pop.

I used fun pieces from the Odds & Ends pack, the Chit Chat pack, and Lilac Abigail Alphabet stickers to make the title. Of course I had to use some Bubblegum Doodle Twine as the string for my banner.

I finished the page with this adorable girl Odds & Ends die cut and May Flowers Doodle Pops. A lady bug from the Little Critters Sprinkles is taking a stroll in the girl's garden.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to get creative with Doodlebug Design stamps on your next layout or project!

Lucky Me with Doodlebug Design

As soon as I heard Doodlebug Design was making stamp sets, I couldn't wait to use them with the Lots O' Luck collection! I would consider myself a beginner stamper, so I started with the simple concept of just making a background by repeating the cloud image. The stamps were SO EASY to use and I love the way my background turned out. I can't wait to use the Doodlebug stamps on my next project!

My favorite paper in this collection is the Irish Lad (green plaid) patterned paper so I used it as my layout base. I layered a number of different patterned papers to create a nice anchor for the photo of my sister and I. I then used the Doodlebug Lots O' Luck Rainbow with Clouds cut file to create my fun rainbow using the Doodlebug Bright Assortment cardstock pack. Doodle Twine adds a little fun texture to the colorful arches!

I used four different ink colors and the cloud stamp from the Doodle Stamps Rainbows & Unicorns set to create my background. I love that the stamped images add interest on my white cardstock, but don't overwhelm the page. And it was SO MUCH FUN stamping all of those multi colored little clouds! I created the title using an Odds & Ends piece and the Tangerine Skinny Cardstock Stickers. Did you notice I added a few heart Shape Sprinkles to the alpha stickers for fun?

I finished the page by layering lots of Odds & Ends pieces. And the Gold Sprinkles add just the perfect amount of sparkle!

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the brand new and oh-so-fun Doodlebug Stamps on your next project!

Gratitude with Bella Blvd

Hi friends! Today I am excited to share my latest layout featuring the adorable Bella Blvd felt banners! I love that they come in a huge variety of colors and themes! I absolutely love the texture that they add to my projects! And how cool is the big Bella Blvd 'Gratitude' acrylic piece I used as my title?!
I started my layout with a white background and a strip of Scallop colored Bella Blvd Plaids and Dotty colored paper. I then used my electronic die cut machine to cut out leaves from the Gulf colored Plaids and Dotty paper and the Borders (teal dot) patterned paper from the Wish Big Boy collection. And of course I added an aqua colored pennant for some fun texture!
I then die cut more leaves using the Guacamole colored Plaids and Dotty paper and the green Cake Time patterned paper from the Wish Big Boy collection. I added some chipboard pieces and ephemera shapes from the adorable Island Escape collection too. And another fun felt pennant adds more texture!
I used the Plaids and Dotty Punch paper and the Let's Celebrate (pink hearts) patterned papers to cut out more leaf shapes. I also embellished all my leaves with coordinating Word Salad stickers and I love the detail they add. Pink and red corrugated Heart Hugs stickers add more texture. And, of course, I finished the layout off with another felt pennant!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to add texture to your project using Bella Blvd felt pennants!
