Doodlebug Design I Heart Travel

If you are like me, you have lots of travel pictures to document.  And what better way to document all of these pics than with the I Heart Travel collection! The bright colors are so fun and all of the graphics are just beyond adorable. I Heart Travel, of course, was a great match for my photo from a recent trip to Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida!
I used the star from the Doodlebug Design Lots O' Luck Lucky Shapes cut file to create a square star design in my die cut machine software. I backed the white cardstock star background with the more solids patterned papers from the I Heart Travel collection and the Petite Prints collection because I wanted the colors to pop. I used the Skinny Alphabet letter stickers in Ladybug and a Chit Chat Ephemera word to complete the title.
I love how the colorful square I made using the Gingham Washi Tape Assortment turned out!  I then used Icons Stickers, Mini Icons Stickers, and This & That Stickers to embellish my page.  And the adorable Going Places Washi Tape adds perfect little accents!
I just love creating rainbow cut out designs on my layouts!

Bella Blvd Mood Board

I had so much fun using the amazing Bella Blvd March Mood Board for inspiration! Isn't it just beautiful?
I was instantly inspired by this mood board's clean, fresh, and flowery vibes! I decided to start with white cardstock as my base and added a large piece of Plaids and Dotty patterned paper in Bell Pepper. This paper choice was definitely inspired by the plaid shirts and all of the yellow in the board!
I then used the Bella Blvd Halloween Flowers cut file to cut out lots of patterned paper flowers. I used the Bella Besties Graph/Dot 6x6 Paper Pad, the Squeeze the Day So Berry Sweet Patterned Paper, and the Wish Big Boy Borders Patterned Paper. I mixed in a Squeeze the Day rainbow ephemera piece to the flower clusters for fun. I love how these colors pop against the white and yellow plaid!
The 'Hello" in my title was inspired by the board as well! I thought 'Hello' worked perfectly in my title here because it was our first time seeing the flowers at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival! And of course I used my favorite Florence Alphabet Stickers to complete the title. I then added a couple fluttering butterflies from the Home Sweet Home collection to the page. The adorable heart stickers on the butterflies came from the Florence Alphabet sheet as well.
I used the Halloween Flowers Cut File and the Squeeze the Day Zesty Patterned Paper to cut out all the greenery accent pieces. I again mixed in ephemera pieces and word phrase stickers to my floral clusters. I then sprinkled some fun orange Puffy Stars and Fruity Mix Matte Enamel Shapes around the page.
I hope you decide to play along with the March Mood Board! I think you will really enjoy it as much as I did. Mood Boards are also great if you are in a scrappy rut and need a little inspiration!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the March Mood Board on your next papercrafting project!

Snow Fun with Doodlebug Design!

Winter came roaring back in my city this week, so I fully embraced it and pulled out the fun Winter Wonderland collection again! I just love the sweet mix of pinks, blues, and purples...and the adorable critters, of course!

I started by using the beautiful pink Winter Wonderland patterned paper for my background. I love that this paper has a soft pattern AND the little white snowflakes are actually glittery! I used a couple Chit Chat Word pieces to easily create a fun title. I used a snowman Odds & Ends piece over the 'O' for a fun accent. I then embellished the title with Snowflake Odds & Ends pieces, Mini Icons Stickers, and Sprinkles stickers.

I always love the square design patterned papers. Here I took a strip of squares from the Snow Fun Patterned Paper and used it as an anchoring piece for my photo. I think it turned out so cute!  I then embellished my photo with Mini Icons Stickers, Odds & Ends Die Cuts, and snowflake Sprinkles Stickers. And isn't that little fox Mini Icons Sticker just the cutest?!

Winter isn't my favorite season, but the adorable Winter Wonderland collection makes braving the cold and snow worth it! All of the characters are just so cute, I can't decide which is my favorite! Can you?!

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to embrace this last bit of winter and grab some of the darling Winter Wonderland collection for your next project!
