Hangin' Out layout with Doodlebug Design

I am having so much fun creating rainbow background designs on my layouts lately! The Doodlebug Designs Petite Prints patterned papers come in so many colors, creating a rainbow effect with them is super easy! I also used the So Much Pun collection because all of the adorable food icons are perfect for documenting the snacks my husband and I enjoyed at the county fair last year!

I started by creating a circular background design in my diecut machine software and then used white cardstock to cut it out. I then used a fun assortment of Dot-Stripe Petite Prints patterned papers to back the white cardstock diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Can you name the 5 Doodlebug colors I used? I started with Citrus, then used Bumblebee, then Ladybug, then Bubblegum, and then finished with Pistachio.

I embellished the top left corner by adding coordinating green embellishments. I used Mini Icon stickers, Odds & Ends die cuts, and word stickers from the 12x12 This & That Sticker Sheet. And isn't that sloth Doodlepop just the cutest?! I love the extra dimension it adds to the page!

I finished the rest of the layout by adding a rainbow of color coordinated embellishments! The Doodlebug embellishments come in a big variety of colors, so finding matching stickers and such was a breeze! Along with the stickers and Odds & Ends pieces, I also added the adorable Jelly Clip cupcake.  And again, how fun is that gumball machine Doodlepop?!?

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to document your next food adventure using the Petite Prints Papers and the So Much Pun collection!
