Sweet Girl Layout

I couldn't wait to use the Doodlebug Design French Kiss collection again because it is just so very sweet! Sure it has some Valentine's Day pieces, but it has so many other general themed elements! Here I used the collection to document my sweet little senior pooch. I used the Doodlebug Simply Spring Flower Wreath cut file to create the fun and colorful background design on my page.

I used the Simply Spring Flower Wreath cut file to die cut the wreath out of white cardstock. I used the French Kiss 6x6 paper pad and Citrus colored Textured Cardstock to back the die cut shape with lots of colorful papers. I embellished the wreath with Chocolate Box Shape Sprinkles, Mini Icon Stickers, and Odds & Ends pieces adhered with foam adhesive. I then adhered the wreath to a sheet of Petite Prints Patterned Paper in Swimming Pool. I used more Odds & Ends pieces (my fav!) and Shape Sprinkles to embellish the photo of my pooch and I.

I used the 'SWEET' Odds & Ends die cut piece for the first half of my title. I used my die cut machine and French Kiss 6x6 Paper Pad to cut out the rest. I added a little strip of the adorable Special Delivery Washi Tape under the word SWEET to add a little color to the bottom of my page. And, of course, I had to use the little doggie Odds & Ends piece!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the French Kiss collection and Doodlebug Design cut files on your next layout!

Hello Sugar Happy Spring layout

A rainbow of Doodlebug Design colors from Bubblegum pink to Grasshopper green? Yes, please! I easily created this cool rainbow background using the cloud from the Doodlebug Rainbow with Clouds cut file and lots of Dot-Stripe Petite Prints patterned papers. I also used fun elements from the So Much Pun and Simply Spring collections. I love that all of the Doodlebug Design collections mix and match so well!

To add interest to my cloud background, I used the Stone Gray Dot-Stripe Petite Prints patterned paper to cut out a second 'background'. I then adhered this to the backside of my white background (shifted up slightly) to give the clouds a gray bottom. I then placed my cloud background over 1 inch strips of the Petite Prints patterned papers in a rainbow of colors from Bubblegum to Grasshopper! I used So Much Pun Odds & Ends pieces to embellish my photo. I don't know what's more yummy...the ice cream cone in my picture or the rainbow effect background! What do you think?!

I embellished my second photo with Odds & Ends pieces from the Simply Spring (title words) and the So Much Pun (plants and the sun) collections!  I love adding a couple of the Doodlebug Sprinkles around my page.

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to create a Doodlebug Design rainbow effect on your next layout!

Hello Pool Vibes layout

Who else is ready for summer? Since it's not here yet, creating with the bright and sunny new Bella Blvd Splash Zone collection was the next best thing! It was the perfect collection to document my niece at the pool last year. I love all of the colorful fish, leaves, and pool toys! How fun! And did you know that Bella Blvd has cut files now?! I used the sun from the Bella Blvd sun & clouds cut file set to easily create my fun sun design!

As soon as I saw the amazingly fun striped Daily Details patterned paper, I knew it had to be the background for this layout. I then used the Make A Wish patterned paper from the Wish Big Boy collection to cut out the main sun part. Word stickers from the Splash Zone collection Doohickey sticker sheet and ephemera pieces of fish add a fun design to the sun's rays. Enamel dots from the Heart Hugs pack add a cute little detail. I then used lots of adorable ephemera pieces to embellish the top of my page!

I am in love with the graphics in this collection! How cute is that floatie ephemera and chipboard fish and waves?!

I backed my photo with the red Splash Zone Flower Garden patterned paper so my picture would stand out. I used the cool 'Pool Vibes' ephemera piece as part of the title. I then finished my page with some fun Puffy Star Stickers and Splash Zone Acrylic stars!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use the new Splash Zone collection on your next project!

Easter Egg Hunt layout

Do you still have a few favorite pictures from Easter that need to be scrapbooked? I sure do! And I was more than happy to get out the adorable Hoppy Easter collection again to document those photographs! I love creating with this collection. The adorable bunnies and chicks and fun color scheme just make me so happy! I also had fun creating a cool background using the Doodlebug Lots O Luck Lucky Shapes cut file set!

I created the fun background by using the star shape to make a random star pattern in my die cut machine software. I then die cut out my pattern on white cardstock. I then die cut the same pattern using Bubblegum and Swimming Pool Petite Prints patterned paper. I adhered these second two cut outs off center (the Bubblegum one offset to the left and the Swimming Pool one offset to the right) to make a border on the star cut out. I then backed the entire page with the colorful Easter Egg Hunt patterned paper. I just love how cool and colorful the stars are! I used lots of Odds & Ends pieces to make my title. And how cute is that little Easter Cute Clip carrot?!

I used my favorite patterned papers from the collection to back my photo and added more Odds & Ends pieces. I used This & That Stickers (the rainbow border and pink squiggle line) to embellish the side of the page.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to finish documenting your Easter pics using the Hoppy Easter collection!

Spring Time layout

What do you get when you pair the Doodlebug Design Hoppy Easter Basket of Flowers cut file with the Hoppy Easter and Simply Spring collections? A basketful of cuteness - that's what! The cut file and these collections were perfect for helping me document the yearly yard full of Easter eggs my mother-in-law puts out for us to find on Easter morning!

Don't let the number of cuts of this design overwhelm you. The Doodlebug Design cut files have all of the different sections colored in, which makes it super easy to keep the pieces organized. I simply grouped all of the parts together by color and then cut out each color group. Assembling and then 'filling' the basket was so much fun!

I used the Petite Prints Stripe patterned paper in Bon Bon on the basket to give it a faux wood look. I used Doodlebug cardstock and patterned papers from the Hoppy Easter collection for my flowers. I used Doodlebug Design cardstock and the Petite Prints Floral paper in Bumblee on the bow. Sprinkles add even more cuteness! Once my basket was complete, I added the adorable bunny, carrot, and radish Odds & Ends pieces. How cute is that little bunny sitting in the basket?!

I finished off the layout with the rainbow wheel This & That sticker, more Odds & Ends pieces, and a couple Icon Stickers. I can't get over how cute that little bunny hopping through the grass is!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use a large cut file with the Hoppy Easter collection on your next layout!

HAPPY Day layout!

I love that all of the Bella Blvd collections mix and match so well! My goal was to use 3 collections, but I just couldn't stop at only 3. I ended up mixing 5 collections on this layout - Wish Big Boy, Wish Big Girl, Plaids & Dotty, Island Escape, and Mom Life! I also had so much fun using a couple of the brand new Bella Blvd cut files on my title!

I used the Happy Word Acrylic cut file to cut out multiples from different patterned papers from the Island Escape and Mom Life collections. I then backed them with strips of Plaids & Dotty polka dot papers for a fun and happy look. I love all of the colors and patterns in this title, don't you?!

I also embellished the page with chipboard from Island Escape and lots of Puffy Heart Stickers and Heart Hugs! I love the texture that the Heart Hugs add!

I used the Birthday Acrylic Word cut file for this part, but I erased the 'birth' part of the word in my cut file software. The patterned paper is from the Wish Big Boy collection! The enamel dots come in the packs of Heart Hugs.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to use lots of patterned papers from multiple collections on your next layout!

How've You Bean?

Ever since Doodlebug Design released their new stamp sets, stamping on layouts has been my new favorite technique! I had so much fun creating the jelly bean background using the jelly bean from the Hoppy Easter stamp set. And I couldn't wait to use the entire Hoppy Easter collection to document my niece's time with the Easter Bunny!

Stamping the random jelly bean pattern was so easy and I love the whimsical design it adds! I used Odds & Ends pieces and Icon Stickers to embellish this section. Did you find the little purple ant Sprinkles sticker in the grass?

Seriously how cute is this little hopping bunny? He might be my favorite! I created this part of the title using the Tangerine Skinny cardstock alpha stickers and an Odds & Ends banner piece. And of course I used lots of Sprinkles to embellish my page!

I really wanted to emphasize the word 'bean' so I used my die cut machine to supersize it using fun patterned paper backed with a solid cardstock. I finished off my layout with the chick Odds & Ends piece and of course more Sprinkles!

Thank you for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to stamp on your next layout!
